About Process Systems, Inc.
Over Half a Century of Pump Know-How
Process Systems Inc. was founded in 1972 as a distributor of pumps and other process equipment. As a representative of several large vertical turbine pump companies, we found that general service pumps used in the automotive industry’s severe duty applications required constant repairs and had significantly shortened pump life.
We knew we could do better for our customers. Applying the lessons learned from repair of these pumps, we manufactured the first Process Systems Vertical Turbine pump in 1978. These “tough breed” pumps have withstood the test of time, the true definition of a superior pump.
Growing Our Pump Range
Over the years, we’ve built on this foundation, developing pump features that solve real-world problems we’ve observed in the field. A sampling of these innovations includes:
- The Self-Seal column design, which replaces a mechanical seal or packing to eliminate assocatiated maintenance and leakage
- The single piece Thrust Head® discharge head design which accepts standard C-face motors, speeding delivery, simplifying installation with factory-set impeller clearances, and extending overall pump life
- The Multi-Series® Self-Seal patented turbine pump, capable of handling pressures exceeding 700 PSI
In 2004, we acquired manufacturing rights to the Deming® Vertical Turbine Pump line. At our Warren headquarters, we carry on its 140-year legacy, building pumps known for durability, efficiency, and low maintenance.
In 2007, we joined the Ruthman Companies, adding our vertical turbine pumps to its line of centrifugal coolant, gear, and heavy duty slurry pumps.
